Pelit Park Hotel · Trabzon
Three days in Trabzon: Meydan, Ganita and a relaxed local stay
For a first short stay, three manageable days can be more enjoyable than a long list of distant attractions. This plan uses Pelit Park as a base for the city, waterfront and Forum area, leaving time for meals and rest. It can be rearranged around your flight.

Day one: settle in and explore the neighbourhood
Leave luggage at reception if the room is not ready; free early room access starts at 09:00 when available. For essentials, ŞOK is approximately two minutes away on foot. Forum is about a 15-minute walk, with an uphill return. A nearby Maydonoz Döner meal gives you a simple first-day option without committing to another trip across the city.
Day two: breakfast, Meydan and the waterfront
Start with the 08:00–11:00 Turkish buffet if your rate includes breakfast. Then take a dolmuş marked Meydan from outside the hotel for time in the centre. Our team's döner recommendation there is Katık's Meydan branch. Ganita is the seafront option for a stroll and seafood; from the hotel, Moloz is the dolmuş direction used for that waterfront outing.
Usual cold choices include several cheeses, olives, jams, honey and labneh. Hot selections include fries, börek, mini pizzas, pastries and omelette, alongside tea and coffee; some dishes change from day to day.
Choose a comfortable return, not a rushed evening
For the return from Meydan, look for TRT Bostancı. Keep that name in Turkish on your phone, or ask reception to call a taxi when a direct trip suits you better. A quieter evening back at the hotel leaves time to rest on the new comfortable beds. Rooms also have a 50-inch Smart TV for a break between outings.
Day three: views over breakfast and departure
The breakfast room has views of Boztepe and the sea and is reached with the R lift button. Keep the last morning light if you have a flight: checkout is 12:00, and the drive to Trabzon Airport is approximately five minutes in usual conditions. That road estimate does not include airport formalities. If you have more time, the official Trabzon tourism guide below offers ideas for extending the trip.
